So kind of a strange story- I was out raking along the side of our driveway today, and reached down to pick up what looked like a few brown twigs. Turns out it wasn't just "a few", but 14 old rusted spikes laying haphazardly near the base of a tree. These things are big- 8 inches (21cm) long, and were not left there by us. From the looks of them, they've been there for a while too. I would love to know where they came from!
